Software is currently an important need in various fields. Its development focuses not only on manufacturing, but also on sustainability, integration and reuse as needed. Therefore, the quality of software becomes an important aspect in supporting the continuous development of technology.
In line with this, the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Diponegoro University through the Undip Global Classroom (UGC) program presents Dr. Yuseni Bin Ab Wahab from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Malaysia, as a speaker in the course of software Evolution.
UGC software Evolution course was held virtually in two meetings and opened by Mr. Edy Suharto, S.T., M.Kom. as Course Coordinator. In the first meeting, the speakers delivered the material “Evolutionary Strategies to Improve Maintainability”, while the second meeting discussed “Reuse and Reusability in Software Evolution”. Through these two materials, students gain an understanding of the importance of software maintenance, reuse of components, and improving the efficiency and quality of software development.
In addition to delivering material, speakers also shared experiences and practical perspectives on software development. The activity took place interactively through discussions and questions and answers, so that students gained additional insight into software evolution, international learning experiences, and a broader understanding of quality software development in the digital era.
